Radiation Oncologist - Physician - (Oncology - Rad Onc) Locum Tenens

Central Illinois clinic is seeking BC/BE Radiation Oncologist for ongoing locums coverage. Must be licensed in Illinois. 8 hour days with call 1 - 2 weeks per month. Please call Staff Care for more information today!
A radiation oncologist(locum tenens) is a physician who utilizes radiation therapy procedures to manage and treat tumors and cancers. These physicians are trained to understand how gamma and x-rays can be used to target and affect a variety of cancers, utilizing radiation therapy combined with chemotherapy and stereostatic radiosurgery to treat their patients. Offering comfort and stability is also paramount in radiation oncology, as these health care professionals often form lasting and emotional relationships with their patients.
