Radiation Oncologist - Physician - (Oncology - Rad Onc) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day

Cancer Center in Eastern Tennessee is in need of Radiation Oncology locums coverage beginning January 11th through April. Schedule will be Monday - Friday, 12pm - 5pm with travel included. IMRT, IGRT performed onsite with linear accelerator. Mainly breast, lung, head/neck cases. Please contact a Staff Care consultant for more details!

A radiation oncologist(locum tenens) is a physician who utilizes radiation therapy procedures to manage and treat tumors and cancers. These physicians are trained to understand how gamma and x-rays can be used to target and affect a variety of cancers, utilizing radiation therapy combined with chemotherapy and stereostatic radiosurgery to treat their patients. Offering comfort and stability is also paramount in radiation oncology, as these health care professionals often form lasting and emotional relationships with their patients.
