Radiation Oncologist - Physician - (Oncology - Rad Onc) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 12/21/2015Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day

A Northeastern Texas cancer center is in need of Radiation Oncology locums coverage from December 21 - 24th. Must be Board Certified and able to see 20-25 patients per day. Basic IMRT and OTV's during the week. Please contact Staff Care for more details.

A radiation oncologist(locum tenens) is a physician who utilizes radiation therapy procedures to manage and treat tumors and cancers. These physicians are trained to understand how gamma and x-rays can be used to target and affect a variety of cancers, utilizing radiation therapy combined with chemotherapy and stereostatic radiosurgery to treat their patients. Offering comfort and stability is also paramount in radiation oncology, as these health care professionals often form lasting and emotional relationships with their patients.
