Radiation Oncologist - Physician - (Oncology - Rad Onc) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 08/03/2015Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Northeastern Wisconsin Cancer Centers in need of Radiation Oncology locums coverage from August through December full-time. Candidates may work at 3 sites within 55 miles of each other. Beautiful time of year to be driving along the coast of Lake Michigan. Bread & Butter Radiation Oncology at majority of sites. Some Brachytherapy & HDR will be done at main center. Staff Care will assist in obtaining a Wisconsin medical license as needed. Please contact a Staff Care consultant for more information.
A radiation oncologist(locum tenens) is a physician who utilizes radiation therapy procedures to manage and treat tumors and cancers. These physicians are trained to understand how gamma and x-rays can be used to target and affect a variety of cancers, utilizing radiation therapy combined with chemotherapy and stereostatic radiosurgery to treat their patients. Offering comfort and stability is also paramount in radiation oncology, as these health care professionals often form lasting and emotional relationships with their patients.
