Radiation Oncologist - Physician - (Oncology - Rad Onc) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Our client in Missouri is seeking a Radiation Oncologist for full-time coverage. The assignment is Monday-Friday 8a-5p, with no weeknight and weekend call and patient volume ranges from 10-15 patients per day. A radiation oncologist(locum tenens) is a physician who utilizes radiation therapy procedures to manage and treat tumors and cancers. These physicians are trained to understand how gamma and x-rays can be used to target and affect a variety of cancers, utilizing radiation therapy combined with chemotherapy and stereostatic radiosurgery to treat their patients. Offering comfort and stability is also paramount in radiation oncology, as these health care professionals often form lasting and emotional relationships with their patients.
