Loyalty is thoroughgoing in that it is not merely a casual interest but a wholehearted commitment to a cause." –Royce JOB REQUIREMENTS Qualifications: Possesses a doctor of medicine degree or a doctor of osteopathy degree from an approved school of medicine or osteopathy. Possesses a Master's degree or equivalent in public health, and complete 1 year of graduate medical education in a clinical specialty at a hospital acceptable to the Surgeon General, HQ USAF. Continuing Medical Education (CME). The CP shall keep their license/registration/certification current. Must possess and maintain an active current; valid; and unrestricted license from a US jurisdiction before practicing independently within the defined scope of practice for their specialty. License and Certification shall be specified for each Specialty. (Refer AFI-44-119) Must have completed a residency or fellowship in occupational medicine acceptable to the Surgeon General HQ USAF. Must possess a current board certification in occupational medicine by the American Board of Preventive Medicine. BLS and ACLS are required. Current DEA Certification is required License must correspond to DEA Registration number. Must have at least 12months of experience within the last 2 years in occupational medicine.
