We have a need for a Part-Time Board Certified Occupational Medicine Physician at the Naval Health Clinic located in Corpus Christi, TX.
The healthcare worker shall be scheduled Monday and Wednesday from 7:30A to 4P. Shifts will generally be for an 8.5 hour period, including an uncompensated .5 hour meal break.
Provide comprehensive occupational medicine evaluation and management of workers and worksites; evaluation, consultation, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention planning for individuals and population groups with or at risk for occupational and environmental disease conditions due to exposure to chemical, physical, biological, or ergonomic stressors. Also provide consultation to other HCWs such as Nurse practitioners or Physician Assistants as required.
Perform diagnostics or therapeutic procedures.
Requirements for this position include:
Be a graduate of a medical school approved by the Liaison committee on Medical Education of the American Medical Association or the American Osteopathic Association or possess certification by the Education council for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG).
Board Certification in American Board of Preventive medicine in the specialty of Occupational Medicine, or the American Osteopathic Association and not less than 1 year of experience within the last 2 years as an Occupational Medicine Physician.
The Physician must have pertinent clinical experience within the past 2 years sufficient to demonstrate current clinical competency for the setting.
Current unrestricted license to practice in any US State or Territory.
