Job Description

Last Update: 1/20/16
A facility in California is in need of a locum tenens physician until a permanent candidate is found. Occupational medicine, family practice, or internal medicine physicians who may be interested in temp-to-perm positions are encouraged to apply. This physician will work Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm in an outpatient setting, seeing 20-30 patients per day. Position requirements include board certification or board eligibility and DOT certification.

With more than 230 days of sunshine annually, this area is the perfect place to explore the outdoors, soak up the California sun, go wine tasting or attend sporting events. The things to do here aren't limited to the outdoors -- world-class museums, performing arts groups, and other fun activities make every day unique in this California city.

A locum tenens assignment in a facility you are considering as a career possibility gives you an in-depth view of its operations and culture before you accept an offer. You can determine if it's a good fit for your lifestyle, practice preferences, skills, and experience. Your CompHealth recruiter can help you find the right temporary-to-permanent opportunity that will fit your needs and lifestyle.
