Large healthcare provider in Southern California has an immediate need for another ObGyn in Palm Springs California. Spanish speaking preferred! We are busy practice that is approximately 80% OB with anticipated call of 1-3. We offer a competitive salary plus benefits including a 4 week vacation.
Our location also qualifies for $30,000 in Loan Repayment under the NHSC loan repayment program for a two year service commitment. This program is open to licensed providers who are employed or have accepted an offer of employment at an NHSC-approved site and will begin working by July 15, 2014. Physicians are eligible to resubmit an application for additional 2 year terms.
Malpractice insurance is fully covered and you will not have to worry about tail insurance should you ever leave as we are covered by the Federal Torts Claims Act (FTCA) whereby coverage is analogous to an occurrence form of malpractice insurance.
Palm Springs is in Southern California’s Coachella Valley, just a couple of hours from Orange and San Diego County’s. Palm Springs is a picturesque desert resort city, with palm tree lined streets shadowed by the Majestic San Jacinto Mountains. Here you will find an abundance of amenities, such as high end shopping, world class restaurants, theater and music. If you prefer the outdoors you won’t be disappointed. Golf tennis, hiking, biking can be had all year round and there is boating and snow sports within an easy drive. Once known as a retirement and winter vacation destination, the Coachella Valley has attracted many young families over recent years. It continues to grow and now has a year round population of approximately 600,000 residents.
