Job Description:
ObGyn needed in South West Rhode Island. Beautiful coastal region. Excellent salary! Benefits include: $20,000 sign on bonus; relocation package; potential for loan forgiveness for student loans or down payment on home; paid time off, malpractice insurance and CME stipend.
There are currently two physicians in practice and two mid-wives- the practice is expanding to include two additonal Obstetricians. In 2007, the delivery had grown to 444; call is 1 in 4 (midwives share call-Ob is backup on those days).
The quality of life here is excellent. There is an excellent public school system, 7 miles of beach and a 14 acre park (Wilcox Park), access to trains (Westerly Train Station services Amtrak and Acela), and Westerly Airport. It is diverse in culture and special events. Westerly is located half way between new York City and Boston and is easily accessible to Route 95.
