Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician Needed in North-Central Texas

Palo Pinto General Hospital in Mineral Wells, Texas is assisting in the recruitment of a full time, BC/BE OB-GYN to share space and work with two additional OB-GYN’s in their well-established, extremely busy private practice. Income guarantee first year with possibility of forming partnership after completion of first year.

ABOUT THE FACILITY
• Palo Pinto General Hospital is dedicated to promoting optimal health and well- being of the entire community by providing patient and family centered, quality healthcare in a respectful and safe environment.
• The Cardiopulmonary Department: oxygen & nebulizer therapy, breathing exercises, pulse oximetry, arterial blood gases and ventilator management; EKGs, Sleep Studies, EEGs, Holter monitoring, 6 minute-walk studies, Pulmonary Function Testing (PFTs) and DLCO.
• The PPGH Heart Center provides Cardiac Rehabilitation under the supervision of Dr. Jay Puppala, cardiologist. Outpatient diagnostic: echocardiogram, carotid doppler, venous doppler, regular stress test.
• Nuclear Medicine: stress tests, bone scans, thyroid scans, lung scans, renal scans are also a part of our services.
• The Radiology Department was included in the recent expansion of PPGH. Our new space allows for improved management of both inpatient and outpatient procedures, which include diagnostic and therapeutic testing and treatment, X-Ray, CT scans, Bone Density, Ultrasound, Digital Mammography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
• The Medical/Surgical Unit is a 47-bed unit with private/semiprivate beds: post-operative surgical care, cardiac monitoring, and supports post-operative orthopedic rehabilitation in conjunction with the in-patient rehabilitation department.
• As a designated Level IV Trauma Center, the Trauma Services Department ensures quality care to the trauma victim throughout the continuum of care. We are active members of North Central Texas Trauma Regional Advisory Council - Trauma Service Area E, & participate in the electronic transmission of trauma statistics to the Texas Department of Health-Bureau of Emergency management. All full-time RNs have successfully completed TNCC, PALS/ENPC, and ACLS.
