Neurologist - Physician - (Neurology - Neuro) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 01/27/2015Available Shifts: Varied Shift
Neuro/Sleep center in CA is looking for a Neurologist with experience in Sleep Medicine. Client is looking for someone that is comfortable with Tele-Neurology and coming in to the office once a month. Must be board certified and comfortable with nerve conduction velocity and sleep study readings.
A neurologist(locum tenens) is trained to diagnose and treat disorders of the nervous system, as well as medical conditions such as Alzheimer's, stroke, and neck and spine injuries. Diagnostic tests on the brain, neck nerves, and reflexes offer these physicians insight into the nature of the illness of injuries that their patient is experiencing. Research neurologists participate in clinical studies and conduct research in an attempt to improve treatments for diseases and injuries of the nervous system.
Required Qualifications
BC in Neuro (with sleep experience) or BE within 5yrs of fellow.

The city itself is located about 12 miles to the north of downtown Los Angeles and only a few miles away from Hollywood. There are therefore many media companies, such as Walt Disney Studios, Warner Brothers and Nickelodeon that are headquartered in Burbank.
