EPILEPSY CENTER DIRECTOR: The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center

The Neurological Institute at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center has an exciting opportunity for a Neurologist or Neurosurgeon to be our Epilepsy Center Director. This year, Ohio State became one of the first medical centers in the nation to integrate our five neuroscience-related departments (Neurology, Neurosurgery, Neuroscience, PM&R and Psychiatry) into a comprehensive neuroscience program. This opportunity comes with access to research through our NIH-funded NEXT and NETT centers. We are looking for candidates with renowned academic leadership and excellence as well as interests in building an Epilepsy Center. This leader would be an integral part of the Neurological Institute, NAEC Level 4 Comprehensive Epilepsy Program and Surgical Epilepsy Program.

Basic Qualifications:
• Renowned academic leadership and excellence
• Neurologist
- Successful completion of Neurophysiology/Epilepsy Fellowship training
- Board Certified in Neurology
- Board Certified in Epilepsy
• Neurosurgeon
- Successful completion of Neurosurgery Residency
- AANS Board Certified in Neurosurgery
• Eligible for State of Ohio medical licensure
• Qualify for academic appointment at the Professor level
