The Neurology Department of Ferrell-Duncan Clinic is seeking a BC/BE General Neurologist to join the practice and develop a Neuro-Hospitalist program. This physician would join a respected group of 8 neurologists with subspecialties in neuromuscular diseases, epilepsy, sleep, and vascular neurology. The group provides services to one hospital, Cox South, a 596-bed Level 1 Stroke Center, in Springfield, Missouri. This physician will take part in stroke call and the telestroke services provided by the neurology department.
The neuroscience team at CoxHealth offers state-of-the-art care for patients with brain and spine diseases, disorders and injuries. The neuroscience program at CoxHealth is a nationally recognized, board-certified stroke neurology team. The Stroke Center holds the Gold Seal of Approval by The Joint Commission for superior care; it is the only primary stroke center in the region with GOLD PLUS STATUS for excellence in patient outcomes. In addition, CoxHealth offers the region’s only National Parkinson Foundation Care Center.
