BC/BE Clinical Epileptologist
Our Department of Neurology, in conjunction with our School of Medicine, seeks an Epilepsy Specialist to join our well-established Epilepsy Center. The position includes specialized, clinical care of epilepsy patients, reading EEG studies, attending in the Epilepsy monitoring unit, teaching Residents and Fellows, and participation in clinical trials. A solid academic interest is expected. The Candidate must be BC/BE in Neurology, have completed a Fellowship in Epilepsy or Clinical Neurophysiology, and have expertise in the pre-surgical evaluation of Epilepsy patients and advanced Epilepsy care. This is a full-time clinical position with opportunities and expectations for clinical research. A faculty appointment at our School of Medicine will be commensurate with experience.
We have the only level 4 Epilepsy Center in Northern New England. The clinic offers comprehensive Epilepsy care, and is focused on the surgical treatment of Epilepsy including cranial nerve and brain stimulation. There are established clinical research programs in intracranial electrophysiology, imaging and cognitive impairment associated with epilepsy.
