The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center seeks a BC/BE General/Outreach Neurologist to complement its well-established general and specialty neurologists. In this established role as an Outreach Neurologist, the Neurologist will perform in-patient and outpatient general neurology consults at one of our affiliate hospitals in the outlying area. This is a full time position with flexibility on faculty appointment.
The Department of Neurology at The Ohio State University is led by our new Chair, Dr. John Kissel. It is part of the larger Neurological Institute. This position will focus on clinical involvement with potential opportunity to teach medical students and residents.
Candidate Qualifications and Characteristics:
• Demonstrated superior skills in multiple aspects of general neurology
• Seek to establish an active clinical practice
• Board Certified in Neurology
• Some subspecialty training desired, but not required
• Clinical research potential, but not required
• Eligible for State of Ohio medical licensure
• Salary commensurate with professional qualifications and experience
