Neurologist - Physician - (Neurology - Neuro) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day

The Army is looking for a qualified Neurologist to help service the troops and their families at Tripler Army Medical Center in Hawaii. The provider will need to be board certified and residency trained. The government requires that you have a current BLS and ACLS, along with a DEA. The physician will be working in a clinic setting from 7am-4pm on a Monday thru Friday schedule. There is no overtime or call back but they will need to be available for some sporadic telephonic consults after hours.

A neurologist(locum tenens) is trained to diagnose and treat disorders of the nervous system, as well as medical conditions such as Alzheimer's, stroke, and neck and spine injuries. Diagnostic tests on the brain, neck nerves, and reflexes offer these physicians insight into the nature of the illness of injuries that their patient is experiencing. Research neurologists participate in clinical studies and conduct research in an attempt to improve treatments for diseases and injuries of the nervous system.
