Opportunity:
As the incoming General Neurologist, you'll join a state-of-the-art medical center that opened in 2003 and offers a full array of acute care services. This is an urgent need for highly motivated BC/BE Neurologist (on track for Specialty Boards) to join a group in a well-established medical office plaza on the hospital campus. You'll be replacing a physician who is leaving the community and leaving a great need for an experienced general neurologist who enjoys hospital consultative work. There is also an excellent primary care and specialists network referring patients – you’ll be busy immediately!
This is a traditional practice providing both inpatient and outpatient care.
Neurology services include:
- CT, MRI, EMG/Nerve Conduction studies
- EEG
- Covering Alzheimer’s Disease, Parkinson’s Disease, and other memory disorders
- Peripheral Nerve Disorders
- Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Tremor and Other Movement Disorders
- Neuropathy
Procedures performed in-office include:
- Nerve blocks
- Deep Brain Stimulator Management
- Intrathecal Baclofen Pump management
- Botox Injections for medical conditions including headache/chronic migraines
- and more
The average daily patient office visits is 26 between 2 providers, and there are 4,610 active patient charts. Call arrangement is 1:3.
