St Vincent Medical Group has an opportunity for a Neurologist to join a dynamic group serving a diverse patient population with an established large referral base in Kokomo, Indiana.
Position Highlights:
•Large patient volume/busy practice
•Excellent colleague support
•Supportive medical community and hospital
•Expected patient load is 80 patients per week
•Call 1:4
•Required procedures: EMG, EEG interpretation
•EMR in place
•Procedures performed in office include: EMG, NCG, ONB, Botox, DBS, Baclofen maintenance, Trigger Point & Punch Biopsy
•Combination of inpatient & outpatient responsibilities

St. Joseph Hospital, a St. Vincent Health hospital, is a 167-bed acute care facility serving the residents of Kokomo, Ind., Howard County and surrounding communities. Kokomo has a population of 45,000 and is located 50 minutes north of Indianapolis. Our 150-person medical staff provides general medical, surgical and diagnostic services for inpatients and outpatients, as well as an array of other services and specialties. In a typical year, St. Joseph will provide emergency care to 20,000 patrons, deliver 1,000 babies and perform 10,000 surgeries. The hospital has an annual volume of more than 6,000 discharges. In addition to acute care, St. Joseph is the largest provider of home care, hospice and home infusion services in the county. In 2012, St. Joseph Hospital was named a "Best Place to Work in Indiana" for the sixth consecutive year!!
