Practice Bradford and Olean Neurosciences, hospital employed or income guarantee
Looking for Resident/Fellowship trained, preferably EEG fellowship training; Residency should have included more than 2 mos. EEG rotation
Opening due to: Date Needed Physician moved to different area, needed as soon as possible, great opportunity exists to increase volumes and become part of a growing health system
Current Physician(s) One in Olean, not full time. Dr. Castro and a nurse practitioner
Location Bradford: new office space adjacent to hospital
Olean: office space TBD
Office Procedures EMG, EEG including 24 hr EEG
Call Responsibilities and Vacation coverage ED triages patients, if consult needed call neurologist. Call is 10 days / month. Telestroke medicine with Global Vascular Institute: Buffalo, NY
Patient Mix Mostly Adult (mostly 65 and >) some peds.
Payor Mix
Competition None, Member of Allegheny Health System with both hospitals as members
Referral Centers Varies according to patient preference and insurance – Pittsburgh, Buffalo and Erie
Current Weekly Office Schedule M-F, sharing time in Olean and Bradford
Future Visions Become center for strokes, development of stroke prevention program
Compensation (amount and type) Incentives MGMA 50th percentile guaranteed for first year
MGMA 25th percentile base salary
Plus bonus incentives paid based on RVUs
# Patients Seen 20-25 pts/day
Protocols Used Those associated with specialty
Staffing Appropriate for practice volumes
