Medical WV Neurologist Specialty: Neurology
Sub-specialty: n/a
Requirements:
• Board Certified or Board Eligible working toward Board Certification
• MD or DO candidates considered
• International Medical Graduates will be considered
• We sponsor J-1 Waiver candidates
• Traditional Neurology inpatient/outpatient practice
Practice Structure:
• Income Guarantee or Employment contract
• Hospital-based opportunity. Solo provider to take over established Neurological practice of physician leaving.
• Call would be 10 nights per month covering one weekend for single specialty.
• Neurological Equipment available for office.
• One other Neurologist with hospital privileges. He works part-time in the community from tertiary center.
• Verification of need- Practice already established as sole full-time provider in the community.
Financial Package:
• Approx. Salary- 260-275K
• Sign on bonus- 35K; Relocation 20K; Marketing 10K; CME 5,000K; Student Loans available and stipends; immigration assistance; Practice Management 18K if on income guarantee.
• If Employed- Occurrence based malpractice; Vacation 25 days; 5 CME days; Health insurance; 401K; disability, etc…

• Hospital payer mix- Medicare 42%; Other/Commercial 20%; Medicaid 17%; Managed Medicaid 7%; Managed Medicare 7%; 5% Self Pay
• Office space is located on campus of hospital
• Level IV Emergency Department
• Primary Service Area 39, 526; Secondary Service area 58, 661 Tertiary Service area 60000+
