Job Description & Requirements

Neurologist - Physician - (Neurology - Neuro) Locum Tenens

Medical facility in Utah is in need of a neurologist to provide Inpatient neurology consultations and will need to be able to administer and direct the administration of IVA TPA for ischemic stroke patients. This will include ED coverage, hospital consults, and outside hospital telephone consults including directing admission of patients need transfer from other hospitals. Coverage will be immediate - ongoing. Please reply with any availability.

A neurologist(locum tenens) is trained to diagnose and treat disorders of the nervous system, as well as medical conditions such as Alzheimer's, stroke, and neck and spine injuries. Diagnostic tests on the brain, neck nerves, and reflexes offer these physicians insight into the nature of the illness of injuries that their patient is experiencing. Research neurologists participate in clinical studies and conduct research in an attempt to improve treatments for diseases and injuries of the nervous system.
