The Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas is seeking a Stroke Neurologist to join two others. The ideal candidate will be board certified in vascular neurology and preferably have completed a fellowship training in stroke. The program includes an 18-bed dedicated stroke unit, 24/7 neuro-interventionalist support, vascular neurosurgery, telemedicine, active clinical trials, stroke rehabilitation, and educational and research opportunities. The successful candidate will join 2 existing vascular neurologists in a 16 neurologist department supported by 3 dedicated stroke nurse practitioners and 4 stroke research coordinators. The Methodist Hospital, located at the Texas Medical Center is a world-renowned hospital and was nationally ranked in 13 specialties by U.S. News & World Report and is a Gold-Plus certified JCAHO primary Stroke Center. A faculty appointment at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University is available for qualified individuals.
