Academic Neurology opportunity available in Florida. Northern Florida (Metro) University seeks Neurologists with interest and training in the following sub-specialties : Cerebrovascular. Hired at tenured, or non-tenured track at Assistant/Associate/ or Full Professor level. Position includes patient care, teaching, and research.
Jacksonville is Florida’s most populated city, and the largest in the state by area. The city has a diversified population of around 830,000 and the metro area has around 1,345,596. The economy is diversified, and a deep water port is ideal for commercial and military shipping activities. There is a wide range of performing arts venues, and sports attractions as well including NFL football. Other teams on a minor league level include baseball, arena football, basketball, rugby, and soccer. Cost of living and housing is low. Good and varied school options. Great area for families. Beaches nearby. Museums, Arboretum, Zoo, botanical gardens, shopping all offered here. Universities and college options are present including University of North Florida, University of Florida, Flagler, and several other colleges in the State system at the 2 and 4 year level. Jacksonville is around two hours to Savannah and Charleston, and Tallahassee. Drive to Miami in under six hours. Florida has no state income tax.
