Leading Health System Seeks Great Neonatologists
VISTA Physician Search and Consulting has a client in central Texas recruiting for board-certified Neonatologists.These are full-time opportunities. Additional details include:
* Medical center and health system seeking its first 3 Neonatologists
* Very little competition in the community from another hospital across town which has only 20% of the market share
* Medical center has great reputation
* Once first Neonatologist is recruited and starts and until the two additional Neonatologists are recruited, a Neonatologist from children's hospitals in Fort Worth and Dallas will cover the first physician's days off
* Call coverage will be from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.; the first physician will be on "first call." From 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. the Pediatricians will be on "first call"
* Once all three Neonatologists recruited start, they will take all Neonatology call; the Pediatricians will not be assisting with call once all 3 Neonatologists have started
* Monthly schedule to include fourteen 24-hour shifts; i.e., could be Monday-Sunday, 7 days on and 7 days off; or it could be 14 straight days
* Attractive yearly salary (up to at least $273,312 the first year); sign-on bonus up to $25,000
* Potential for monthly stipend final 12 months of training; potential for student loan repayment
* Hospital performs over 1,300 deliveries per year; Level II Nursery and Level III Trauma Center
* Total patient population comes from 19 counties with a draw area of over 400,000
