The Neonatal Medicine department of CoxHealth, a large integrated health system in Springfield, Missouri, is currently seeking a FAAP fellowship trained physician in neonatal medicine to join an in-patient, hospital based practice.
This long established program serves more than 30 counties throughout southwest Missouri and northwest Arkansas. Since 1986, CoxHealth has been affiliated with Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. Cox Medical Center South is a 52-bed, level lll intensive care nursery staffed by a group of four board certified neonatologists. The system provides services via the Cox Air Care program and the Baby Buggy for newborn emergency transports. This highly developed regional referral center delivers more than 3,600 newborns every year, and the team of neonatologists treat approximately 400 newborns per year.
