Job Description

Last Update: 10/21/14
St. Chris Onsite Pediatric Partners (SCOPP) is recruiting a Director of Neonatology for our newest hospital client, St. Luke’s University Health Network in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. You would be working for SCOPP providing 24/7 in-house coverage at the Bethlehem campus which hosts a 23-bed, Level III unit with 2,700 deliveries per year. The health network has partnered with St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, with a Level IV NICU that offers ECMO and cooling, to provide pediatric subspecialty support services for both of St. Luke’s NICUs (Bethlehem and Allentown). Candidates for Director must be Board Certified in neonatology.

St. Chris Onsite Pediatric Partners (SCOPP) was formed to deliver high quality care to pediatric and neonatal patients in community hospitals in a manner that combines the best aspects of St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children and Onsite Neonatal Partners. In combining St. Chris and Onsite, we have integrated all of the positive aspects of an academic medical center with all of the positive aspects of a nimble, private group of neonatologists. Our neonatologists will also provide medical education at the Bethlehem campus to residents and medical students through the Temple University School of Medicine/St. Luke’s Medical School. Physicians will receive a faculty appointment at Temple's School of Medicine.

Onsite offers a competitive compensation package, along with benefits including: health, life, dental, and disability. There is a competitive 401(k) option and an annual CME allowance. Onsite Directors also enjoy the benefits of our work-life balance model, and work few 24-hour shifts per week, alongside administrative duties as needed. Professional liability insurance (including TAIL) is provided, along with assistance with mandatory hospital credentialing, state licensing, and reimbursement of associated fees.
