Clinical Faculty Member with Division of Neonatology
Merritt Hawkins is pleased to announce the availability for a clinical faculty appointment with the Division of Neonatology in the Department of Child Health. This division has six FTE clinical faculty plus a Neonatologist dedicated to research. We seek a physician that is strong clinically, a team player that can fit into our divisional culture with the energy and skills to be an excellent teacher, and practicing Neonatologist.

HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE:
- World-class care in one convenient location for these young patients! There is a pediatric and adolescent specialty clinic attached to the newly renovated women and children’s hospital, which houses 30 pediatric subspecialties, PICU, NICU, adolescent inpatient unit and child life therapy
- 48 NICU beds, 13 PICU beds and 100% private inpatient rooms for children and adolescents and up to a Level III Nursery
- Neonatal transport team helps bring approximately 350 babies from other health care facilities to get the care they need at our university
- Our NICU treats more than 500 premature and critically ill infants each year.
- Free video service utilizes iPads and a web based service to allow them to talk to their newborns or healthcare providers and have access to check on their babies when they cannot be there.
