Neonatology Opportunity in Beautiful Northern New York

Opportunity for a BE/BC Neonatologist to join our very successful Neonatology Program. Excellent benefits, including medical liability insurance and relocation assistance.

  • Employed by not-for-profit hospital, in Northern New York.
  • Candidate must be Board Certified in Pediatrics and Fellowship trained in Neonatology with subspecialty certification or actively in process with the certification process
  • Competitive salary, signing bonus, educational loan repayment, relocation moving expenses
  • Coverage rotation one week on/ one week off " this is negotiable. Flexibility and ability to have a balanced life.
  • A new 12 Bed Level 2 NICU
  • Average census is 4 to 6
  • 1500 deliveries per year
  • 30 week gestational neonates
  • Capable and willing to perform circumcisions
  • Short term ventilators
  • Provide pediatric care to Newborns, can average 3-8 patients a day
  • Average length of well-baby stay is 2 days
  • Good relationship with Level III support hospital
  • Opportunity to teach, medical students, interns and residents
