CHIEF, SECTION OF NEONATOLOGYSt. Christopher’s Hospital for Children and the Department of Pediatrics of Drexel University College of Medicine are seeking applicants for the position of Chief, Section of Neonatology. We are looking for an individual with leadership skills and vision, who will steward a growing group of health professionals in providing excellent quality care to patients and guide the professional and academic development of the faculty in the section. In this position, the selected individual will actively interact with hospital and departmental leadership, develop care standards and assist hospital leadership in programmatic development. St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children is a 189-bed, quaternary care, free standing children’s hospital with Level I trauma accreditation located in Philadelphia, PA. You can find leading specialists in virtually every major field of pediatrics among the almost 200 full-time faculty members at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children. The Section of Neonatology provides state-of-the art care to newborns with a wide variety of medical and surgical disorders, including severe congenital heart disease. The faculty in the Section of Neonatology is involved in an internationally respected research program under the leadership of Dr. Maria Delivoria Papadopoulos. This position represents a unique opportunity for an innovative and enterprising academic physician interested in a leadership position.
