Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) is seeking an experienced physician to become the new Chief of Neonatology overseeing our 40-bed Level III NICU with 8 neonatologists and 6 nurse practitioners. Our position offers clinical and administrative responsibilities with substantive medical leadership and an opportunity to blend interests in quality improvement, care management and clinical program development. We require five years of experience in a progressive Level III NICU, solid collaborative, communication and leadership skills and board certification in neonatology. Advanced business degree is desired. The Children’s Hospital at Lehigh Valley Hospital is the only children’s hospital in the region that provides care in 28 specialties and general pediatrics. There is a 30-bed inpatient unit, 8-bed Level II PICU, a pediatric specialty center, Level II pediatric trauma center and 12-bed pediatric ER. We have MFM 24/7 in-house coverage, a 10-bed perinatal unit and 10 LDRs through which we register nearly 4,000 annual deliveries. LVHN currently trains 223 residents in 18 residency and fellowship programs and has an academic affiliation with the University of South Florida. Located in the heart of a prosperous, growing region of eastern Pennsylvania, the Lehigh Valley is an area of outstanding beauty, a regional center for culture, education, recreation and public service and the base for many leading companies. We are only 1 hour north of Philadelphia and 1.5 hours west of New York City. Interested physician leaders should email a CV to [Register to View] or call [Register to View] .
