Neonatology Opportunities in Florida

About the position

As the region’s only Level III NICU, The Medical Center is uniquely qualified to care for premature or critically ill babies. Every physician, specialist, and nurse who is part of the NICU team understands intimately the special care and attention these babies require, and the special concerns this time may create for families. NICU staff consists of registered nurses and respiratory therapists who are specially-trained in the management and transport of critically ill and premature newborns, as well as physicians, nurses, developmental therapists, case managers, dietary, physical and occupational therapists, and pharmacists.

Facility Highlight:

  • Children’s Services Care team is currently comprised of three neonatologists and hiring for a fourth
  • 18-bassinet NICU for level 3, and 22-bassinet NICU for level 2 • 2,300 deliveries annually
