Neonatologist - Physician - (Neonatology) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 24 Hour On-Call

Specializing in the care of newborn infants, a neonatologist(locum tenens) is often tasked with providing diagnoses and treatments to infants with birth defects and life-threatening illnesses. In order to become licensed as a neonatologist, a physician must first complete a residency in general pediatrics, followed by a fellowship in neonatology. These physicians provide a wide range of treatments for their patients, and often work with them for long periods of time, as in the case of premature birth.

Required Qualifications
BC Neonatologist

Preferred Qualifications
Neonatal circumcision, Ped's cardioversion, echocardiogram, pediatric sedation, newborn delivery attendance, stabilization care, endotracheal intubation and vent management, neonatology procedures such as arterial line placement, and thoracentesis.
