Neonatologist - Physician - (Neonatology) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 12/20/2015Available Shifts: 12 Hour/Day

Neonatologist needed for immediate and ongoing coverage at facility in eastern North Dakota. This is a 24-hour in house schedule. Most procedures will be required. Low volume. Call today if interested.

Specializing in the care of newborn infants, a neonatologist(locum tenens) is often tasked with providing diagnoses and treatments to infants with birth defects and life-threatening illnesses. In order to become licensed as a neonatologist, a physician must first complete a residency in general pediatrics, followed by a fellowship in neonatology. These physicians provide a wide range of treatments for their patients, and often work with them for long periods of time, as in the case of premature birth.
