Leading Health System Seeks Great Neonatologists
VISTA Physician Search and Consulting has a client in central Texas recruiting for board-certified Neonatologist. Additional details for this full-time, permanent position include:
* Recently hired a BC Neonatologist and seeking up to 2 additional Neonatologists
* Seeking a Neonatologist that can start no sooner than the summer of 2016; will consider 2017 start date as well
* Very little competition in the community
* Until the 2 additional Neonatologists are recruited, a Neonatologist from children's hospitals in Fort Worth and Dallas will cover the first physician's days off
* Call coverage will be from 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.; the first physician will be on "first call." From 7:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. the Pediatricians will be on "first call"
* Once all 3 Neonatologists start, they will take all Neonatology call
* Monthly schedule to include 14 24-hour shifts; i.e., could be Monday-Sunday, 7 days on and 7 days off; or it could be 14 straight days
* Attractive yearly salary (up to at least $273,312 the first year); sign-on bonus up to $25,000
* Potential for monthly stipend final 12 months of training; potential for student loan repayment
* Hospital performs over 1,300 deliveries per year; Level II nursery and Level III trauma center
* Total patient population comes from 19 counties with a draw area of over 400,000
