Graham Medical Group is seeking a permanent residency-trained family practice W or W/out OB or internal medicine / pediatrics physician to join our established and growing rural practice. All applicants must be board certified or board eligible. Working collaboratively in a multi-specialty group of 25+ active medical providers, the physician will serve patients of all ages and conditions. You will be supported by a strong medical staff and premier ancillary services in a financially sound healthcare system.
Applicants must have a strong passion for the profession but desire to function as a team. The provider will see patients during normal clinic hours, share night and weekend call among other clinicians, and round at Graham Hospital per patient need. • Graham Medical Group, an affiliate of Graham Health System, is a multi-specialty group located in a brand new, state of the art 68,000 sq. ft. clinic in Canton, Illinois. Graham has satellite facilities in Farmington. Lewistown & Cuba, Illinois. Lab, digital x-ray, and pharmacy are available on site. Graham Medical Group is on a fully-integrated electronic medical record (E-Clinical Works). Convenient Care Clinic provided by mid-level providers 7 days per week.
• Graham Hospital is a 124-bed hospital in Canton, Illinois with a recently remodeled OB unit, a newly renovated ICU, PCU (cardiac), and medical/surgical unit, a skilled and a long term care center (54 beds). General X-ray, MRI, 64-Slice CT, and Ultrasound on site. Graham Hospital will be on robust CPOE at hospital on 1/1/2013.
• Salary guarantee for two years at median MGMA, excellent benefits. Opportunity to buy into Coleman Medical Associates after two years. Prepare to be very, very busy. Average 20 – 30 visits per day.36 hours per week in clinic, 4 hours per week administrative duties, 4 – 5 days on-call per month, 1 in 6 weekends call Round at hospital per patient need. Nursing home rounds 1 day per month.
• Requirements for participation in medical staff and quality councils.
• Community is stable, with recently renovated downtown and new medical device manufacturing facility (one of the largest developments in central Illinois). Multiple surrounding charming towns you may also call home. Winter, water, and outdoor sports (hunting and fishing paradise) are our specialty
