Locum pediatrician needed by our client in central California. While mostly outpatient this position does require privileging as hospital rounding is required for the clinic's newborn children at the local hospital. Expect 2-3 patients per hour in the clinic, but you'll have plenty of clinical and administrative support to help you get through the day. This assignment is ongoing while a permanent physician search is being conducted. Provider can begin working in the clinic immediately while the privileges are being obtained. Minimum Length of Coverage:3 months
Perm or Locums:Locums
Schedule Requested:Prefer mostly late shifts: 11-8 or 12-9 M-F. One Saturday/month.
Call Schedule:1:3 or 1:4 Hospital Call - Rounding on newborns only.
