• Established hospitalist program, initiated in 2007
• Three well trained, BC Hospitalists: 2 IMs/1 MED/PD
• Seek BE or BC Internist or MED/PD physician
• Cover 211 bed acute care facility
• Block schedule, 7 on/7 off, 12-hour shifts
• Two hospitalist work days/ one nocturnist
• 20 patients per shift
• 8-10 total admissions daily
• FT position requires 15 (12-hour) day shifts per month with one weekend on per month.
• Hospitalist admit/cover the ICU with excellent sub-specialty support (GI, PUD/CC, CD).
• Assist ER physicians with codes as needed.
