This is a new opportunity, on Michigan's scenic Upper Peninsula, for an Internal Medicine physician. The new physician will join a well established group which includes three Medical Pediatricians five Internists and five Physician Assistants Each physician has their own office and two exam rooms. This new opening is the result of the impending retirement, as well as expanding demand for medical services. The payer mix is very good with minimal Medicaid. Depending on your practice style you'll see between ten and twenty patients per day. This is an all outpatient practice with light call and no requirement to perform procedures. The starting salary will range from $170,000 to $250,000 based on experience and qualifications. A partnership is available with a very reasonable buy-in spread over five years. Both a sign on bonus and relocation allowance will be offered as well as a comprehensive benefits package. The community sits along the shore of Lake Superior and is a terrific location for an outdoor enthusiast. The local area abounds in hiking and biking trails, possesses two pristine beaches and an internationally recognized golf course.
