BC/BE Med/Ped needed to join this facility. It is a plus to be bi-lingual, Spanish speaking. Must have or have applied for CA license and DEA. Full time work in our clinic and take 10 days of peds call per month. It is a contract position (1099) We will cover malpractice and tail. REQUIREMENTS ARE: 1. From a program where they took care of the peds and did not refer them to the pediatric service. 2. Must be PALS certified and comfortable doing it 3. Must be comfortable with inpatient and outpatient peds. 4. Spanish speaking a plus Payor mix is 25% MedCare, 20%MedCal, 30% Blue Cross, 10% HMO and 15% PPO. Hospital has 2 OR?s and a surgery center with 2 OR?s. Support staff includes, 3 Anesth, 6 FM?s, 4 OB?s, 3 Ortho, 4 IM?s, Hospitalists, 2 Surgeons, Cardiology, Urology, Radiology, Infectious Disease, Rheumatology, Pathology, Pulmonology and Peds. They are a small town less than 30 minutes from the CA coast or 1 hour from San Jose, Santa Cruz or Monterey; or 1.5 hours from San Francisco. Town has a 35K population and is mostly agricultural.
