Internist - Physician - (Internal Medicine) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Internal Medicine clinic in Chicago is seeking a locum tenens physician to fill in on a temporary or temporary-to-permanent basis. Provider must speak Spanish and Board Certification is highly preferred. This positions starts immediately. For more information please contact Staff Care today!
Internal medicine (locum tenens) is a branch of medicine characterized by an emphasis on treating the whole body, rather than specialized focus on one body part of system. Many people use internists as their first point of medical contact, and in this way these physicians function similarly to primary care doctors. Internists are trained to treat and diagnose a wide range of illnesses that affect the entirety of the biological system. When an illness proves to be advancing, exotic or complex, internists will usually refer their patients to specialists.
