Client needs full-time Board Eligible or Board Certified Family Practice or Internal Medicine physician to see US Veteran patients at primary care clinic in Bainbridge, NY. Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8am-430pm with 30 minute lunch period. Provider will see 8-12 patients per day providing comprehensive primary care services to US veteran patients; must have knowledge of all current procedures. Provider will work with clinic staff to schedule new and follow-up patients, take history and physical exam as needed, order tests or labs, diagnose and treat illnesses, prescribe medications, consult with other physicians, and refer to specialty care as appropriate. No call or weekend work is required. Provider must be US citizen and must be computer literate. Provider must have BLS certification, license in any US State, and all licenses must be full and unrestricted. Provider must not have any past history of disciplinary action. Position begins September 1 or as soon as credentialed, and will be for 6 months with an additional 6-month option period available.
