The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center’s Center for Women’s Health in collaboration with the Division of General Internal Medicine seeks full-time, experienced, board-certified /eligible general internists to join our team of ambulatory clinician educators to participate in an innovative, integrated women-centric health program.
Established in 2007, the Center for Women’s Health (CWH) is a multi-disciplinary, integrative care team comprised of providers from specialties including Gynecology, Endocrinology, Cardiology, Integrative Medicine and Primary Care (representing General Internal Medicine and Family Medicine). The CWH also collaborates with Psychiatry, Urogynecology, and Physical Therapy, with planned growth and outreach in other specialties.
Interested candidates will be expected to demonstrate outstanding clinical care concurrent with a commitment to teaching residents and students. We are interested in an energetic and enthusiastic internist who has a desire and/or experience to focus in clinical women’s health, wellness and prevention, and program development. Former scholarly experience is desirable but not necessary. Opportunities for career development in administration, clinical program development, and educational scholarship, as well as clinical research with a focus on women’s health are available through the CWH. The CWH is also the academic home for the one of the regional centers in the NIH-funded Women’s Health Initiative. The selected candidate will hold an appointment in General Internal Medicine and the Center for Women’s Health.
