Client Hospital is a major participating site for an ACGME for an Internal Medicine Residency Program. Program is sponsored by the local University and is part of a consortium with a VA as the other participating site for this training program. This is a 3 year Residency Program with up to 20 Residents accepted each year.

The majority of the Residents training will take place at the main campus. The successful Candidate will be based out of the main campus and will direct the administrative and educational operations of this Residency Program at the campus.

Qualifications for a successful candidate is as follows:

• The Physician will hold a broad knowledge of, experience with, and commitment to Internal Medicine as a discipline, patient center care, and to the generalist training of residence.
• Must be board certified with the ABIM or subspecialty.
• Time will be split 50/50 with administrative duties and educational aspect of Internal Medicine.
• Successful Candidate must have practiced in Internal Medicine Specialty for a minimum of 3 years.
• Has produced works of scholarly activities as evidence by peer reviewed funding or by publication of original research.
• Board Certification in Neurology or Endocrinology is a huge plus!
