We are actively seeking three (3) BC/BE Internal Medicine physicians to join our hospitalist group. This group has created a professional environment that supports driven physician leaders. They offer opportunities at world-class facilities and a quality of life that is second to none.
This opportunity supports an 121 bed acute care hospital that that offers 24-hour emergency services, state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment and a wide range of healthcare services that are delivered from a holistic approach treating patient’s physical, mental and spiritual needs. Community wide electronic health record system is provided and the facility has received the Gold Seal of Approval ™ from the Joint Commission for Primary Stroke Centers.
The community of Grass Valley, CA is nestled in the heart of the Sierra Nevada Foothills and is truly a postcard image. An ideal climate is observed in Grass Valley allowing year around access to the South Yuba River and Tahoe National Forest, offering endless outdoor recreational activities. There are over 30 public schools, some of which have received the nation’s highest marks in statewide standardized testing. Grass Valley is located 60 miles from Sacramento, 160 miles from San Francisco and 90 miles from both Reno and Lake Tahoe.
Program Overview: block schedule – 7 on/7 off, Open ICU, No Call, basic inpatient procedures and vent management required. 12 Shifts Per Month. Census fluctuates between 16-20 patients per physician. Opportunity includes day and night responsibilities.
