A large fully integrated hospital system seeks a Staff Psychiatrist to support a 34 bed Inpatient Unit and Emergency Room Services within an Acute Care Hospital. This is a Full-Time / Direct Hire Perm. Position

Night Position available w/ some flexibility
Day position Monday - Friday
On-Call duties for consultation purposes usually
Support Staff is available: the Medical assistant as primary; RN, NP
Procedures Performed by Provider:
Must be comfortable conducting psychiatric assessments and make diagnoses. Prescribe appropriate treatment plans and prescribe therapy, psychotherapy, or rehabilitation programs. Coordinate the work of consulting multi-disciplinary team for clinical work or program development. Train and supervise interns and residents. Prepare reports and maintain records of activities. Develop comprehensive case histories.
