Internist - Physician - (Internal Medicine) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: Day Shift
Locum Tenen Family Practice or Internal Medicine Physician needed in an outpatient clinic. Coverage is needed beginning June 10 continuing on an ongoing basis. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday - hours are flexible. Candidates must be bi-lingual (Spanish). Internal medicine (locum tenens) is a branch of medicine characterized by an emphasis on treating the whole body, rather than specialized focus on one body part of system. Many people use internists as their first point of medical contact, and in this way these physicians function similarly to primary care doctors. Internists are trained to treat and diagnose a wide range of illnesses that affect the entirety of the biological system. When an illness proves to be advancing, exotic or complex, internists will usually refer their patients to specialists.
