Internist - Physician - (Internal Medicine) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
One of our beloved community health centers is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician to help care for their patients! We are considering an immediate start date and this is an opportunity that could become long-term! The schedule is Monday to Friday 8am-5pm, and you will be seeing about 20 patients per day. Are you comfortable seeing both adults and children? Forbes named Greenville the 13th Best City for Young Professionals! Visitors to Greater Greenville will have no problem filling the days and evenings with every kind of leisure activity. Greenville's international community has created sophisticated dining and entertainment options that may surprise first-time visitors.
Internal medicine (locum tenens) is a branch of medicine characterized by an emphasis on treating the whole body, rather than specialized focus on one body part of system. Many people use internists as their first point of medical contact, and in this way these physicians function similarly to primary care doctors. Internists are trained to treat and diagnose a wide range of illnesses that affect the entirety of the biological system. When an illness proves to be advancing, exotic or complex, internists will usually refer their patients to specialists.
