The Medical Director plans and directs all aspects of the organization’s medical policies and programs for a specific facility/location. They will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strategic clinical relationships with physicians and ensure all clinical programs are in compliance, and research publications to support clinical service offerings. A degree in medicine from an accredited school (M.D. or D.O.), licensed to practice in the state of facility, and a requirement of greater than 10 years’ experience in Internal Medicine. Must be familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Responsibilities will be approximately 25% administrative and 75% patient care.
