We have a great opportunity for an Internal Medicine Physician to provide service in the Internal Medicine Department at Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune, NC.
Services will be required Monday through Friday between the hours of 7AM to 5PM.
In addition to the basic duties:
The physician will perform examinations on patients and report to the patient's chain of command on the ability of the patient to perform requisite military duties.
Prepare military and Veteran's Administrative reports, including but not limited to disabilities, disability retirement, Limited Duty Boards, and Physical Evaluation Boards.
Provide recommendations to senior military members regarding various aspects of care to the Wounded Warrior Population.
Requirements:
Doctorate Degree in Medicine from an accredited college approved by the liaison committee on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association, a Doctorate Degree in Osteopathy from a college accredited by the American Osteopathic Association, or permanent Certification by the Educational Commission for foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG).
Posses and maintain a board certification in Internal Medicine as determined by either American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or The American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine (AOBIM).
Posses and maintain a current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in any one of the fifty states.
Posses a minimum of 2 years of experience within the preceding 4 years as an Internal Medicine physician performing duties similar to those of the task order.
